One of the coolest songs of all time, in my humble opinion, and this stretched version is the best of the various takes I’ve heard.
The song? Twilight Zone, by Golden Earring, and again, I think it fits perfectly with the chapter. It’s about confusion and uncertainty, all the things you thought you knew falling apart and changing, and that’s just what goes on. Admittedly, she asked for it to happen, but it doesn’t change the impact when it actually does happen!
